Noah Gibney is an emerging artist from Reading, Pennsylvania, blending soul, funk, and singer-songwriter styles into a sound that’s heartfelt, groove-driven, and timeless. Drawing inspiration from Nathaniel Rateliff, Jon Batiste, The Grateful Dead, Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, and the Allman Brothers.

A multi-instrumentalist on keys, guitar, and vocals, Noah has been performing since the age of four—getting his start at a local market after being inspired by a blues guitarist playing during the event. Since then, he’s grown from spontaneous childhood jams to leading his own band, the Noah Gibney Trio, playing gigs across the country. Noah also plays in groups such So What!, Big Boy Brass, Love Shaak Organ Trio, and more.

During the pandemic, Noah cold-messaged Grammy-nominated artist G. Love—and to his surprise, G. Love wrote back. That moment sparked a deep collaboration: the two co-wrote 15 songs together over Zoom, including tracks on Noah’s debut EP, The Serendipity Sessions. The record, full of themes like patience, trust, and growth, reached the ears of none other than President Joe Biden. After sending the EP through the White House contact form "just to see what might happen," Noah received a call from Washington, D.C.—an invitation to meet the President in person. The encounter ended with Biden signing Noah’s CD with the words: “Remember me when you hit the charts.”

Noah’s musical career is built not just on talent, but on persistence and purpose. He’s shared the stage with G. Love, Oteil Burbridge, Luther Dickinson, John “JoJo” Hermann, Eric Marienthal, Ray-Ray Holloman, and Brandon “Taz” Niederauer. He’s performed for organizations including the Reading Musical Foundation, John McEnroe Foundation, and Olivet Boys and Girls Club, and continues to book and manage his own gigs, keeping his instrument close—“because opportunity only matters if you’re ready.”

Off stage, Noah is deeply committed to building community. He hosts open mics, mentors younger musicians, and volunteers his time with Berks Jazz Fest’s Get JazzEd program, Face the Music Camp, and local youth music programs. Whether he’s playing a gig, writing a new tune, or lifting up others through music, Noah is guided by the belief that success isn’t measured by numbers—it’s measured by joy, growth, and the connections you make along the way.
